Hi there, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m Anita Sadowska, a Southern California-based photographer with over 15 years of experience behind the lens. Most people know me as @sadowskaphoto on YouTube and Instagram, where I’ve built a community of over 400,000 creatives who share my passion for photography, travel, and storytelling.
For most of my career, I specialized in portrait and fashion photography, helping women feel confident, empowered, and seen. That work shaped my style- it taught me how to capture emotion, connection, and natural beauty in a way that feels timeless and true.
But over time, something began pulling me toward a new chapter.
Why I Fell in Love With Elopement Photography
I eloped myself and it completely changed how I see weddings. My partner and I chose to skip the big production and focus instead on what really mattered: us. We exchanged vows in nature, stress-free, present in every moment. No timelines. No rules. Just love.
That experience made me fall in love with elopements. They’re intimate, intentional, and rooted in adventure- exactly how I believe a wedding day should feel. Now, as an elopement photographer, I get to help couples capture those same unforgettable memories in the most authentic way possible. Whether it’s a mountaintop ceremony at sunrise, vows on a wild California coastline, or a secret adventure halfway across the world, I’m there to document every laugh, tear, and quiet touch.
My Approach
I combine my portraiture background with my love of the outdoors. That means I’ll guide you so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, but I’ll never make you feel posed or stiff. My goal is to tell your story honestly-through photographs that reflect your love, your adventure, and the breathtaking landscapes you chose for your day.
While I’m based in California, I travel worldwide to capture love stories in incredible places. From Yosemite and Big Sur to Iceland, Bali, or the Scottish Highlands-I’ll follow wherever your heart takes you.
