Hi, I’m Anita Sadowska - a California-based photographer, educator, and storyteller with over 15 years of experience behind the lens. My journey started in portrait and fashion photography, where I built a career helping women feel confident, empowered, and truly seen. Over the years, I’ve photographed countless faces and stories, learning not just how to capture beauty, but how to bring out the emotion and essence of every moment.

But photography, for me, has always been about more than just images—it’s about connection. That’s why I’ve recently expanded into elopement photography. A big part of this decision came from my own story: I eloped with my partner, and it was the most liberating, love-filled experience of my life. No timelines, no pressure - just us, surrounded by nature, focused on what really mattered. That day taught me that weddings don’t have to follow the rules—they can be as intimate, adventurous, and unique as the couple themselves.

Now, I bring that same philosophy into my work with couples who choose to elope. I combine my background in portraiture (so you’ll always feel comfortable and look your best) with my love for the outdoors (because nothing inspires me more than mountains, forests, and wild open spaces). While I’m based in California, my work takes me all around the world—I’ll happily travel wherever your love story leads.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me hiking, exploring national parks, or planning my next adventure. I believe the best stories are found off the beaten path, and I can’t wait to help you tell yours.
